This Tussar Ghicha Saree is woven in a thread count of 35/37 D Tussar in warp way and Reeled tussar & Ghicha in weft way, on hand loom. Shri. Vasanta Silekar, a resident of village Mohadi in District Bhandara (Maharashtra), is a master craftsman. This saree is woven with a single shuttle with plain border which takes about 3-4 days to complete the saree length fabric.This is specialy designed in weaving by using Reeled Tussar yarns in plates and Ghicha in remaining portion.To make the saree more attractive after weaving it is printed with the exclusive designs in attractive color. The silk mark certification of this saree vouches for authenticity of the silk yarn used in weaving, while the handloom mark certification guarantees that this product is exclusively hand woven. No child labour is involved in production of saree. Unevenness in fabric is a beauty of handloom.
